PF Changs Lettuce Wraps

I found this recipe on AllRecipes.com and adapted it to make lettuce wraps. They are sooo good.

1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger root
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
2 tablespoons hot sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb ground chicken (or turkey)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 head of lettuce (with the leaves rinsed and dried)
Salt and pepper to taste
NOTE: You can also add a teaspoon of crushed red peppers to spice it up or cilantro to taste.

Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and hot sauce in a small bowl.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken meat with about 1/3 of the sauce and brown like you would taco meat. (It might even be better marinade the meat for a couple of hours.) Cook until the liquid is absorbed.

Place the meat in a serving dish, the lettuce leaves on a platter and the remaining sauce in a ramekin. Take the lettuce leaf fill with meat and add a teaspoon of sauce. Roll up and enjoy!
